2013 || Thanksgiving Extravaganza
Back in November 2013, we served one of our favorite business specials to date! To align with the festivities, we offered a slow roasted garlic & herb rubbed turkey breast served with traditional gravy. Our stuffing was seasoned with sage, celery, onion and was served with a side of creamy garlic mashed potatoes & housemade pumpkin pie! It embodied Thanksgiving in a bite!
2014 || Summer Realness
The summer heat was amongst us and we had to do something about it! Our August 2014 menu was a highlight for its fruity notes beyond citrus. That month, we served an exquisite peach wood smoked boneless beef short rib with olathe sweet corn. We paired this main with a seasonal pasta salad with housemade mozzarella as a side and a serving of peaches & cream for dessert. We all wanted a ‘peach’ of this business special!
2015 || Spring Bloom
After a long winter, there’s nothing better than the sight and taste of fresh spring vegetables! The produce available during the springtime is unique and incredibly fresh. We kicked off our May 2015 menu with a seasonal salad containing little gem lettuce, fresh strawberries, goat feta cheese, toasted almonds and a home-made rhubarb vinaigrette. This salad was then accompanied with a sherry-garlic marinated & grilled tri-tips steak seasoned with ramp salt, peppercorns and topped with a ramp of pesto.
2017 | | Winter Goodness
Happy new year! The January 2017 menu channelled all the seasonal produce available to make a true work of art for the palate. This month’s menu served a cream of wild mushroom soup with sherry & crispy onions. The seared chicken breast was topped with honey chestnut cream sauce and was served with a side of mashed root vegetables. Comfort food galore!
2013 || Sweet Notes
To end this post on a sweet note, this Orange sabayon tart with strawberry rhubarb compote and pistachio crumble has been one of our all-time favorites. Introduced to the business special menu in 2013, it is remembered as one of our most DELICIOUS desserts to date.
